History
Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 136 (the “District”) was created by Act of the 83rd Texas Legislature, Regular Session, Ch. 524, effective June 14, 2013 (Senate Bill 482), codified as Chapter 8433, Texas Special District Local Laws Code. The District operates under Article XVI, Section 59, and Article III, Section 52, of the Texas Constitution and Chapters 49 and 54, Texas Water Code, and has all of the purposes and powers described therein. The District is located in Montgomery County and currently consists of 302 acres and serves the Woodhavyn community.
